This item is made from a dobby woven checkered fabric that has the characteristic firmness of ramie. It has been washed to give it a soft texture that is gentle on the skin.
The short length and design that is somewhere between a jacket and a shirt make it easy to balance with other items and allow you to enjoy a variety of styles.
The front is studded with glass buttons from the button brand "sumie." Designer Miyazono commissioned a Kyoto-based glass artist to create these buttons, which were all handcrafted one by one. Their appealing, fresh appearance is reminiscent of the delicate contours of water, which cannot retain its shape.
This is a convenient piece of clothing that you can easily put on as the seasons change and it becomes more difficult to regulate your body temperature.
